►Brief Description
KSTAR 12V 100Ah 6-FM-100 Vrla battery limits the release of hydrogen and oxygen from the battery, thereby limiting the consumption of water in the electrolyte. Therefore, there is no need to replenish the battery with water during normal use. Valve-regulated batteries are sealed, but if the internal pressure of the battery becomes too high, the valve opens. The valve reseals automatically. Recombination of the charging gas is achieved by oxygen produced by the positive plate passing through the separator material to reach the negative plate, where it undergoes a recombination reaction. The valve controls the internal structure of the battery, optimizing the efficiency of the recombination reaction and minimizing the consumption of electrolyte.
During storage, the battery will gradually lose capacity due to self-discharge. The self-discharge rate is low, typically less than 3% per month at 25°C. Although the self-discharge rate is low, special care should be taken during storage or when not in use to prevent over-discharging due to self-discharge.
