Preparation Before Replacement:
1. Prepare tools:

2. Safety measures:

Anti-static: Wear insulating gloves to avoid metal tools touching the positive and negative poles at the same time.
Ventilated environment: The battery may release hydrogen, so keep away from open flames and sparks.
Replacement Steps:
1. Disconnect the old battery:
Disconnect the negative pole (-) first, then the positive pole (+): Use a wrench or screwdriver to loosen the terminal screw to avoid the tool touching both poles at the same time to cause a short circuit.
Remove the old battery: Carefully remove the battery (it may be heavy) and check whether the battery compartment is corroded or stained.
2. Clean the battery compartment and terminals:
Corrosion treatment: If there are white crystals (sulfate) on the terminals or battery compartment, wipe them with baking soda water (sodium bicarbonate solution), then clean them with clean water and dry them.
Check the cables: If the cables are oxidized or damaged, it is recommended to replace them.
3. Install new batteries:
Place new batteries: Make sure the battery is in the correct direction and fix the battery.
Connect terminals: Connect the positive terminal (+) first, then the negative terminal (-), and tighten the terminal screws to ensure good contact.
4. Check and test:
Turn on the device (such as UPS) and observe whether it is operating normally.
